Templestowe United Football Club (TUFC) was founded in 2014. We are a young club with old community spirit, established to accommodate the increase in demand in the area for a club to provide opportunity, excellent facilities and modern coaching delivery to children of all abilities, to fulfil their sporting potential. We commenced with a membership base of 220 players and in 2017, we have fielded approximately 500 players across our U6/U7 Programme, our Mini-Roos, Juniors, Seniors covering boys and girls, making us the second largest club in the Manningham region after only 4 years.
TUFC is based at Bulleen Park – Pitches 4 & 5 Bulleen Road, Bulleen as well as the Veneto Cub, Bulleen and Donvale Reserve, Donvale. The Bulleen Park pitches have been resurfaced to provide our players an excellent surface to ensure their safety and to maximise participation. We have expanded our facilities with the development of storage areas, change rooms and canteen facilities. These upgrades have been achieved with thanks to Manningham Council and parent and community participation.
TUFC has already, and continues to expect, increase in participation levels in all age groups. We believe this is due to the professionalism of the club, quality and dedication of the coaches and our philosophy to accept any child with the passion to play the world game.
The club’s football program is primarily based on the FFA curriculum and is overseen by our Technical Directors of Football. Players at all ages and ability levels, whether new to football or high capable and experienced, will have the support and resources they need to ensure they develop rapidly.
The club has a history of stable governance and a high rate of player retention and is proud of its inclusive culture, free from the ‘politics’ so endemic at other football clubs.
